The Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety is comprised of first responders programs who provide 24/7 direct services to protect life and property within the exterior boundaries of the Navajo Nation.

Special Order Issued for Automated License Plate Recognition Technology

The Navajo Department of Criminal Investigation and Navajo Nation Police Department have issued Special Order CI-26-01 and NPD-HQ-26-01 establishing guidelines for the use of Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) technology.
